Oscar launched as a tech-driven alternative to legacy insurance in 2012, offering its first individual ACA plans in 2014.

To build on that momentum, we launched a Provider Platform that looped doctors into our care network. We also grew our offerings to include small business and Medicare plans.

We decided to double down on what we do best. We left traditional company plans behind to put all of our attention on the individual market, hitting 3 million members and launching Lucie Health Marketplace and Trove Group.
